Herbie H. Hart started to play the saxophone at the age of 13. Influenced by great musicians such as John Coltrane, Cannonbal Adderly, Phil Woods, Grover Washington Jr. etc., he joined the US Army Band and was stationed in New York. There, he studied with top musicians like Eddie Daniels, Lee Konitz, Billy Harper, Harald Danker and Michael Brecker and others. Later on Herbie H. Hart was based in Berlin, Germany. He continued to study the saxophone with Leo Wright and additionally the flute and clarinet. After leaving the US army band he started his successful carriere as a professional musician and teacher. He performed with all top bands and orchestras in Berlin, Theater des Westens, SFB, RIAS, Friedrichstadtpalast, Philharmonie etc. Herbie H. Hart is more then just a great saxophone player. He writes original lyrics and songs. With the help of his home studio arranging and composing music is fast and easy.
